I’ve been working on getting a new piece of software written. My biggest problem has been finding qualified leads/buyers. There always seems to be lots of products but finding people to buy those products is the hard part for me.

This new software will search Craig’s List and or the 50 major online classified sites by keywords. It will bring back the results and allow me to email them with a message. Like visit my squeeze page!!!

It is taking the developer about 60 days to get all the programing done.

If you are interested in testing this out for yourself….no cost, let me know. What I need is feedback and maybe even some good testimonals if it works like I think it should.

Interested. Leave me your name and email address. I’ll stay in touch with how things are progressing and get you a beta copy asap.

I really only want between 5 and 10 testers.

Thanks

Don Clifton

At one time I was heavily involved in Direct Mail Marketing. I’m trying to transfer some what I learned to Internet Marketing.

Being creative I think is key to being able to do that.

Let me share one marketing campaign I worked on…see what you think!

A real estate agent was doing regular mailings to a very large subdivision. Whe was getting less than 1/4 of 1% response. She was trying to get people to contact her for a free appraisal of their home.

Instead of using her company’s envelope we used a plain one. We didn’t want the prospect to know who the letter was coming from. (The company envelope gave that away without even opening it). We had her “sales” letter printed up with the prospect’s first name in the body of the letter a couple of times.

Before sending the letter, she folded each letter up. She wrote on the back top 1/3 of the letter (the part that would show immediately as the letter is opened) these words: “Please don’t throw this letter away again.” Then she unfolded the letter and wrinkled it up in a ball just as if she was throwing it in the garbage.

Next she carefully undid the letter, not trying to smooth it out completely and refolded it to put it into the envelope. She sealed the letter and put a regular first class stamp on it.

Ok, think about it. When the person sees the letter is is plain on the outside, no return address and it is hand addressed to the prospect. The letter is thicker and bulkier feeling than a regular letter, because of the wrinkled up nature of the paper inside. Do you think they’ll open it…you bet they will.

Now the prospect pulls the letter out and what do they see? “Please don’t throw this away again.” What’s their reaction…what would be your reaction?

Yes, they will read the letter.

This worked so well that she consistantly got several appointments with each mailing. She also got two phone calls from attorneys who threatened her for going through their mail. What a laugh. She had to explain to them what she did.

Effect, yes. Can I transfer that into internet marketing. I’m not sure but I’m going to try.

I’ve own several businesses including Movie Theaters, A Steinway Piano Store, Fitness Studio, Dry Cleaner, Bridal Store…..

Before I started a new business I alway spent a consideralbe, sometime months of time researching everything I could find about that particular business. Before making a decision to open I tried to find a mentor. Someone I could work one on one with, someone who would help and advise me.

There always seemed to be plenty of “know it alls”…plenty business owners who were successful but didn’t have time for me or my questions. They were too busy being successful to help.

Before opening my first movie theater I found a theater owner in Seattle who was willing to be my mentor. I flew over and spent an entire day with him in his movie theater. I called him several….actually more than several times to ask question, get advice and ask for references and contacts.

The grand opening came off perfectly. My theater became one of the top 10 ($1.00 admission) discount theaters in the country.

So what does that have to do with internet marketing?

I applied the same principles to my internet marketing business. I did months of research before jumping in. I read countless ebooks, purchased reports and software and found plenty of gurus who were too busy being successful to help me out.

Some gurus were willing to sell their help and advice…it’s all over the internet and in my email box.

I finally found someone who wasn’t interested in always selling the next great whatever! This someone was and is very successful at internet marketing. The remarkable thing about Alex is he’s willing to do whatever it takes to help make me successful.

Alex Jeffreys is a real mentor. I’m proud and happy to say that Alex Jeffreys is my mentor.

Alex is a “bloke” from Wales. I try not to hold that against him. I spent 2 years in the midlands of England, Nottingham, Birmingham and I’ve been back several times. Actually I have some very good friends in Cardiff, near where Alex lives. I look forward to actually meeting him the next time I’m over.

Since you can’t have Alex as your personal mentor I want to share with you some of the things he has shared with me.

First check out Alex’s FREE 22 page ebook on building an email list. Download your FREE copy at www.neededproducts.com

Stay tuned for other helps from Alex….and from me.

It wasn’t until I quit chasing the dream that I finally found it.

At first all I did was dream about internet marketing success. Everytime I got an email it told me to buy this new ebook that would expalin how easy it is to get rich quick, with no money, no work and no worries.

Sound familiar?

Just about the time I was ready to try something like PLRs, something new would hit my email box. It would sound fantastic. Better than what I was going to do, so I’d switch and study this new technique. Then two weeks later it would be something else.

I finally decided what I really needed was a personal mentor, someone I could trust to help me.

Once I found Alex Jeffreys I quit this nonsense of chasing a new dream. My first internet venture, “A.A.” (After Alex) is bringing me an average of about $150 per day. Great start.

Now with Alex’s help I’m in the process of creating my own product. It’s going to be a course on testing. I’ll announce more about that later. It’s something that has fasinated me since being involved for 5 years in the direct mail marketing business.

Don’t forget I’m here to help….answer your questions, I’ll even review your website if you’d like.
